Time Recording

Record project hours online or in the Can Do client

The Can Do project management software lets you record time with the following functions:

• Record working hours with daily, weekly or monthly views
• Graphical display of project working hours recorded
• Mapping of basic loads (e.g., regular maintenance work) and non-project activities
• Estimate costs and show activity progress
• Traffic light function displays possible overloads
• Direct feedback in Can Do client or via a browser
• Evaluation and analyses of recorded time using a modern reporting system
• Export the data from the reporting system to existing billing systems (PeopleSoft, SAP:, CATS, etc.)
• Import data from existing time recording systems to Can Do
• Easy to use
• Target/actual comparisons for hours worked
• Data acquisition in real time
• Summaries for departments and projects

Time Recording or feedback consists of:

* a date, when the Feedback took place
* the planned effort per resource
* the reported time (how many hours worked on this date)
* the remaining effort
* a comment if any.

A project leader can also enter feedbacks for his team members. This way, each resource must not login to give his feedback.

The Can Do reporting tool PDC (Project Data Control) provides a rich set of reports which show the comparison between planned and remaining effort, as well as, the resource “overload” for each package.
